2.4 Interactive Data Reporting: Additional Information
There is a tremendous amount of current and past data available,
and a major objective of Valuation Tutor is to teach you how to
analyze this data to evaluate a company.
The primary reports discussed to data have been the
financial statements and related notes provided in the 10-K.
Additional important reports filed with the SEC are Forms
10-Q and 8-K; Form 10-Q contains the quarterly unaudited
financial statements and Form 8-K is used to disclose
significant events when they happen.
You have complete access to the 10-Q’s via Valuation
Tutor, including using the Data Collector utility.
At the time of this writing, the following interactive
data reports were available for Amazon:
This dropdown list will grow over time as additional 10-Q’s and
10-K’s are filed.
Three 10-Q’s are filed each year because the fourth is filed as
a 10-K (and covers four quarters).
These are all accessed as illustrated earlier.
For the remainder of the filings Valuation Tutor provides
easy access by clicking on the tab “Complete Filing” circled in
red below beside the “Financial Report” tab and then scroll to
Form 10-K (circled in blue below):
